უფასო იურიდიული დახმარების ქმედითი სისტემის უზრუნველყოფა და ამ მომსახურების ხარისხის გაუმჯობესებაზე მუდმივი ზრუნვა სამართლებრივი სახელმწიფოების ერთ-ერთი მეტად მნიშვნელოვანი გამოწვევაა. რაოდენ გასაკვირადაც შეიძლება ჟღერდეს, საქართველო ამ მიმართულებით არსებული შედეგების თვალსაზრისით, წინ უსწრებს არაერთ დასავლეთ და ცენტრალური ევროპის ქვეყანას, რომელთაც, მართალია, ეროვნულ დონეზე დანერგილი აქვთ უფასო იურიდიული მომსახურების კარგად ორგანიზებული სისტემა, თუმცა არ აქვთ სახელმწიფოს მიერ დაფინანსებული ამ სერვისის კონტროლის კონკრეტული და პრაქტიკულ გამოწვევებზე ორიენტირებული მექანიზმები. წინამდებარე სტატია ეძღვნება უფასო იურიდიული დახმარების ხარისხის კონტროლის მნიშვნელობას და მასთან დაკავშირებულ რამდენიმე აქტუალურ საკითხს, რომელთა შესახებ პრაქტიკასა და თეორიაში პრინციპული აზრთა სხვადასხვაობა წარმოიშვა, სახელდობრ, დღემდე პრობლემურია იურიდიული მომსახურების ხარისხის კონტროლის პროცესში ადვოკატსა და კლიენტს შორის კონფიდენციალობის დაცვის საკითხი, მომსახურების ხარისხთან დაკავშირებული პრობლემების შემთხვევაში კონკრეტული ადვოკატის საქმიდან ჩამოცილების საკითხი, ადვოკატის თვითორგანიზების უფლება და ა.შ.წყაროები
